From whom the serpent Shesha received infinite strength, enabling him to support the earth in various forms, and from whom the diverse heavenly worlds exist in manifold ways — we constantly bow to and worship that Lord Ganesha.
ఎవరిని వర్ణించడంలో వేద వాక్కులు మరియు మనస్సులు కూడా వెనుతిరుగుతాయో, ఎవరిని వేదాలు ఎప్పుడూ 'ఇది కాదు, ఇది కాదు' అని మాత్రమే సూచించగలుగుతాయో, చిదానంద స్వరూపుడైన ఆ పరబ్రహ్మ స్వరూపుడైన గణేశునికి మేము ఎల్లప్పుడూ మ్రొక్కి సేవిస్తున్నాము.
Towards whom the words of the Vedas and the minds of sages fall short, and whom they constantly describe as 'not this, not this' (Neti Neti) — we constantly bow to and worship that Lord Ganesha, who is the Supreme Brahman and the embodiment of consciousness and bliss.
శ్రీ గణేశుడు పలికెను: గణాధీశుడు మళ్ళీ ఇలా చెప్పాడు, 'ఏ మానవుడైతే ఈ స్తోత్రాన్ని మూడు రోజుల పాటు మూడు సంధ్యలలో (ఉదయం, మధ్యాహ్నం, సాయంత్రం) పఠిస్తాడో, వాని పనులన్నీ సఫలమవుతాయి.'
Lord Ganesha said: The Lord of the Ganas spoke again, 'Whoever recites this stotram during the three twilights for three days will have all his tasks successfully accomplished.'
ఈ పవిత్రమైన ఎనిమిది శ్లోకాల స్తోత్రాన్ని చవితి తిథి నాడు మొదలుపెట్టి ఎనిమిది రోజుల పాటు ప్రతిరోజూ ఎనిమిది సార్లు జపించేవాడు అష్టసిద్ధులను (ఎనిమిది గొప్ప శక్తులను) పొందుతాడు.
Whoever chants this auspicious Ashtakam (eight verses) eight times a day for eight days, especially starting on Chaturthi, will attain the eight great mystic perfections (Ashta Siddhis).
యః పఠేన్మాసమాత్రం తు దశవారం దినే దినే |
స మోచయేద్బంధగతం రాజవధ్యం న సంశయః ॥ ౧౧ ॥
ఎవరైతే నెల రోజుల పాటు ప్రతిరోజూ పది సార్లు పఠిస్తారో, వారు కారాగార బంధనాల నుండి మరియు రాజు విధించే మరణ శిక్ష నుండి కూడా విముక్తులవుతారనడంలో ఎటువంటి సందేహమూ లేదు.
One who recites this ten times a day for a full month will definitely be freed from imprisonment and even from capital punishment by the king. There is no doubt about this.
విద్యను కోరుకునేవారు విద్యను, పుత్రులను కోరుకునేవారు పుత్రులను పొందుతారు. దీనిని ఇరవై ఒక్క సార్లు పఠించడం వల్ల మనుష్యులు తాము కోరుకున్న కోరికలన్నింటినీ నెరవేర్చుకుంటారు.
A seeker of knowledge will gain knowledge, and one seeking a son will obtain a son. By reciting this twenty-one times, one fulfills all their desires.
