ద్విరదవదన విషమరద వరద జయేశాన శాంతవరసదన |
సదనవసాదన దయయా కురు సాదనమంతరాయస్య ॥ ౧ ॥
ఏనుగు ముఖము గలవాడా, విరిగిన దంతము గలవాడా, వరములిచ్చువాడా, విజయమునకు ప్రభువా, శాంతికి నిలయమైనవాడా! దయతో నా ఆటంకములను నాశనము చేయుము.
O elephant-faced Lord (Dviradavadan), having a broken tusk (vishamarada), bestower of boons (varada), victorious Lord (jayeshana), the supreme abode of peace (shantavarasadana)! Out of your compassion, please destroy my obstacles.
నీ నుదురు చంద్రవంకతో అలంకరించబడి ఉన్నది. నీ చెక్కిళ్ళు తుమ్మెదల ఝుంకారముతో శోభిల్లుచున్నవి. ఈ సమస్త ప్రపంచమునకు భయంకరమైన మరియు స్పష్టమైన ఆధారభూతుడవు నీవే.
Your forehead is adorned with the crescent moon, and your cheeks are beautified by the humming of bees. You are the fierce yet manifest foundation of this universe.
చేతియందు శ్రేష్ఠమైన గొడ్డలిని మరియు పాశమును ధరించినవాడా! వజ్రము వంటి దంతములు గల మూషికమునెక్కి మా ఆపదలన్నింటినీ నీవు తొలగిస్తున్నావు.
O Lord holding the excellent axe and noose in Your hands! You are the greatest merchant of grace. Riding upon your diamond-toothed mouse, you bring an end to all calamities.
లంబోదరా! గరికపై ఆసీనుడైనవాడా! తియ్యని మోదకమును చేతపట్టుకున్నవాడా! యముని ఆటంకములను సైతం హరించే నీ అందమైన చూపులతో నన్ను మెల్లగా కటాక్షించుము.
O pot-bellied Lord, seated on Durva grass, holding a sweet modaka! Please look at me gently with your beautiful eyes that destroy the obstacles of death (Yama).
ఆనందభరితులైన సమస్త దేవతల సమూహముచే నమస్కరింపబడే పాదపద్మములు గలవాడా! ఆనందంగా చెరకుగడను ధరించినవాడా! ఏనుగు వంటి కుంభస్థలముతో మిక్కిలి ప్రకాశించే ఓ ప్రభూ!
O Lord, whose feet are worshipped by the joyful assembly of all gods! You happily hold a sugarcane stalk, and your forehead is like that of a majestic elephant. You shine supremely, O Lord!
లెక్కలేనన్ని సద్గుణాలు కల పరమశివుని కుమారా! నిన్ను ధ్యానించువారికి చింతామణి వలె కోరికలు తీర్చేవాడా! ఓ గణేశా! నీ పాదములనే నేను శరణు వేడుతున్నాను. కరుణా సముద్రుడవైన ఓ దేవా, ఈ దీనుడిని రక్షించుము.
O son of the Lord of countless virtues (Shiva)! O wish-fulfilling gem (Chintamani) to your meditators! O Lord of the Ganas (Ganesha)! I take refuge at your feet. O ocean of compassion, please protect me, a helpless soul.
అమృతము వంటి తీయని పదాలతో కూర్చబడి, స్వర్గము వరకు వ్యాపించిన నా ఈ స్తోత్రము (షట్పదీ) శ్రీ గణపతి పాదపద్మములను చేరుగాక.
May this extensive hymn of praise, composed of sweet nectar-like words and elevated to the heavens, this Shatpadi of mine, enter and find its place at the lotus feet of Lord Ganapati.
