మనో బుధ్యహంకార చిత్తాని నాహం న చ శ్రోత్ర జిహ్వే న చ ఘ్రాణనేత్రే | న చ వ్యోమ భూమిర్న తేజో న వాయుః చిదానంద రూపః శివోఽహం శివోఽహమ్ || 1 ||
నేను మనస్సును కాను, బుద్ధిని కాను, అహంకారాన్ని కాను, చిత్తాన్ని (జ్ఞాపకశక్తిని) కాను. నేను వినే చెవులు కాను, రుచి చూసే నాలుకను కాను, వాసన చూసే ముక్కును కాను, చూసే కళ్ళు కాను. నేను ఆకాశాన్ని కాను, భూమిని కాను, అగ్నిని కాను, వాయువును కాను. నేను జ్ఞాన స్వరూపుడను, ఆనంద స్వరూపుడనైన శివుడిని.
I am not the mind, nor the intellect, nor the ego, nor the memory (chitta). I am not the organs of hearing (ears), tasting (tongue), smelling (nose), or seeing (eyes). I am not the space, nor the earth, nor light (fire), nor wind (air). I am the form of consciousness and bliss; I am Shiva, I am Shiva.
న చ ప్రాణ సంజ్ఞో న వైపంచవాయుః న వా సప్తధาతుర్న వా పంచకోశాః | నవాక్పాణి పాదౌ న చోపస్థ పాయూ చిదానంద రూపః శివోఽహం శివోఽహమ్ || 2 ||
నేను ప్రాణాన్ని కాను, ఐదు రకాల వాయువులను (ప్రాణ, అపాన, వ్యాన, ఉదాన, సమాన వాయువులు) కాను. నేను శరీరంలోని ఏడు ధాతువులను (రక్తం, మాంసం, కొవ్వు, ఎముకలు, మజ్జ, చర్మం, శుక్రం) కాను, పంచకోశాలను (అన్నమయ, ప్రాణమయ, మనోమయ, విజ్ఞానమయ, ఆనందమయ కోశాలు) కాను. మాట్లాడే నోరు, పట్టుకునే చేతులు, నడిచే కాళ్ళు, విసర్జన-జననేంద్రియాలను కాను. నేను చిదానంద స్వరూపుడనైన శివుడిని.
I am not the life force (prana), nor the five vital airs (prana, apana, vyana, udana, samana). I am not the seven bodily constituents (fat, flesh, blood, bones, marrow, skin, semen), nor the five sheaths (food sheath, vital air sheath, mental sheath, intellectual sheath, bliss sheath). I am not the organs of speech, hands, feet, nor the organs of procreation or excretion. I am the form of consciousness and bliss; I am Shiva, I am Shiva.
న మే ద్వేషరాగౌ న మే లోభమోహో మదో నైవ మే నైవ మాత్సర్యభావః | న ధర్మో న చార్ధో న కామో న మోక్షః చిదానంద రూపః శివోఽహం శివోఽహమ్ || 3 ||
నాకు ద్వేషం లేదు, రాగం (ఆసక్తి) లేదు, లోభం (పిసినారితనం) లేదు, మోహం లేదు. నాకు మదం లేదు, అసూయ లేదు. నాకు ధర్మార్ధకామమోక్షాలనే చతుర్విధ పురుషార్థాలతో సంబంధం లేదు. నేను చిదానంద స్వరూపుడనైన శివుడిని.
I have no hatred or attachment, nor greed or delusion. I have no pride, nor any feeling of jealousy. I have no duty (dharma), nor wealth (artha), nor desire (kama), nor liberation (moksha). I am the form of consciousness and bliss; I am Shiva, I am Shiva.
న పుణ్యం న పాపం న సౌఖ్యం న దుఃఖం న మంత్రో న తీర్థం న వేదా న యజ్ఞః | అహం భోజనం నైవ భోజ్యం న భోక్తా చిదానంద రూపః శివోఽహం శివోఽహమ్ || 4 ||
నాకు పుణ్యం లేదు, పాపం లేదు, సుఖం లేదు, దుఃఖం లేదు. నాకు మంత్రాలు, తీర్థయాత్రలు, వేదాలు లేదా యజ్ఞాలతో పనిలేదు. నేను అనుభవించే వస్తువును కాను, అనుభవించబడే అనుభవాన్ని కాను, అనుభవించే భోక్తను కాను. నేను చిదానంద స్వరూపుడనైన శివుడిని.
I have neither virtue (punya) nor vice (papa), neither pleasure (sukha) nor pain (dukha). I do not need mantras, holy places (pilgrimage sites), Vedas, or sacrifices. I am neither the experience, nor the experienced, nor the experiencer. I am the form of consciousness and bliss; I am Shiva, I am Shiva.
న మృత్యుర్న శంకా న మే జాతి భేదః పితా నైవ మే నైవ మాతా న జన్మః | న బంధుర్న మిత్రం గురుర్నైవ శిష్యః చిదానందరూపః శివోఽహం శివోఽహమ్ || 5 ||
నాకు మరణం లేదు, భయం లేదు, కులమత భేదాలు లేవు. నాకు తండ్రి లేడు, తల్లి లేదు, పుట్టుక లేదు. నాకు బంధువులు లేరు, మిత్రులు లేరు, గురువు లేడు, శిష్యుడు లేడు. నేను చిదానంద స్వరూపుడనైన శివుడిని.
I have no death or fear, nor any caste distinctions. I have no father, nor mother, nor birth. I have no relatives, nor friends, neither guru nor disciple. I am the form of consciousness and bliss; I am Shiva, I am Shiva.
అహం నిర్వికల్పో నిరాకార రూపో విభూత్వాచ్చ సర్వత్ర సర్వేంద్రియాణామ్ | న చాసంగతం నైవ ముక్తిర్న మేయః చిదానందరూపః శివోఽహం శివోఽహమ్ || 6 ||
నేను ఎలాంటి వికల్పాలు (మార్పులు) లేనివాడిని, ఆకారం లేనివాడిని. అంతటా నిండి ఉండి, అన్ని ఇంద్రియాలలోనూ వ్యాపించి ఉన్నాను. నాకు దేనితోనూ ఆసక్తి (బంధం) లేదు, ముక్తి లేదు (ఎందుకంటే బంధమే లేనప్పుడు ముక్తి ఎక్కడ ఉంటుంది?). నేను చిదానంద స్వరూపుడనైన శివుడిని.
I am change-free (nirvikalpa), formless, all-pervading, and present in all the senses. I am neither attached to anything nor am I free (because I was never bound). I am the form of consciousness and bliss; I am Shiva, I am Shiva.
