ఐకమత్య సూక్తం

తాత్పర్యము: (ఇది ఋగ్వేదంలోని చివరి సూక్తం) ఓ అగ్నిదేవా, కోరికలను నెరవేర్చేవాడా, నీవు సమస్త ప్రాణులను ఏకం చేస్తావు. పవిత్రమైన యజ్ఞవేదికపై వెలిగించబడే నీవు మాకు సకల ఐశ్వర్యాలను ప్రసాదించుము.

(The final Sukta of the Rigveda) O Agni, the bestower of desires, you unite all living beings. You are kindled on the holy altar; may you bring us all prosperity and wealth.

తాత్పర్యము: మీరంతా కలిసి మెలిసి నడవండి. మీరంతా ఒకే మాటపై నిలవండి. మీ మనస్సులు ఒకరినొకరు అర్థం చేసుకుని ఐకమత్యంగా ఉండుగాక. పూర్వకాలంలో దేవతలు తమ హవిస్సులను ఎలా సఖ్యతతో స్వీకరించారో, అలాగే మీరు కలసిమెలసి ఉండండి.

May you all walk together in harmony; may you speak in one voice; may your minds be united in understanding. Just as the ancient gods accepted their share of the sacrifice in perfect harmony, so may you act.

తాత్పర్యము: మీ అందరి మంత్రం (ప్రార్థన) ఒక్కటే అగుగాక. మీ సభలు ఉమ్మడిగా ఉండుగాక. మీ మనస్సులు, ఆలోచనలు ఏకమై ఉండుగాక. మీ అందరి కోసం నేను ఒకే మంత్రాన్ని జపిస్తున్నాను మరియు ఒకే హవిస్సును సమర్పిస్తున్నాను.

May your prayers be common; may your assemblies be common; may your minds and thoughts be united. I offer a common prayer for you all, and I offer a common oblation for you all.
